Air Structures American Tech

In March of 2017, heavy snows from Winter Storm Stella, caused a total collapse of the dome (built by others). The 275″ by 500″ radial cable dome was under-designed and not capable of withstanding the snow loads common in Utica, NY.

We could not have accomplishged the resilient rebuild without ASATI. Thank you again for helping us through a very challenging time.

The Danbury Sports Dome may never have been built if not for the knowledge and assistance of ASATI. They were instrumental in getting our city officials to approve our project. And the support did not stop there.

We started construction of the Danbury Sports Dome in March of 2012. It was scheduled for an eight month building project. Because of unwarranted problems with one person in Danbury’s building department, our project was severely delayed. Through all these delays, ASATI’s entire team was extremely supportive, attending countless meetings with the city officials and contractors and seemed to be constantly on-site.

We upgraded from the existing inferior coaxial system to the full bias cable net to greatly reduce the risk posed by inclement weather conditions.

With the previous coaxial system, the building would sway during storms, an issue that no longer exists. Thanks to ASATI, the Tennessee Titans have a beautiful and high-performance building that both the NFL and Tennessee Titans are proud of.
